Asian Turkey Burgers
Sauce: 6 tablespoons ketchup 2 tablespoons apricot preserves 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Burgers: 1/4 cup apricot preserves 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder salt & black pepper 2 tablespoons finely crushed cracker crumbs 1 pound ground turkey Mix preserves, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, onion powder, salt
& pepper Shape into 4 patties and cook in a heated skillet with a little vegetable
oil till
Serve burgers on toasted buns topped with sauce and your choice of additional toppings.
Additional Toppings: julienned water chestnuts pineapple rings thinly sliced onion juilienned sweet red peppers asian style cole slaw or sandwich slaw whatever you like!
