Better Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes

 

5 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 to 5 cloves of garlic, peeled and whole
8oz tub of onion and chive cream cheese
1/2 stick of butter
2 to 4 tablespoons of milk
salt and pepper

 

Boil potatoes and garlic for about 15 minutes or until ready to mash.
Drain well and transfer to a large bowl for mashing.

Add cream cheese, butter, milk, and seasonings to hot potatoes and garlic.

Using a hand-held mixer whip the potatoes to your desired consistency.
Not too smooth! We're not making soup here!

Serve hot! No gravy needed!
