Aunt Carla's Quick and Easy Spaghetti and Meatballs
Serves 4 to 6

 

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 jars (1 lb. 10 oz) Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce
1 can Stewed Tomatoes, diced
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning blend or Oregano
1/8 tsp black pepper
8 oz. Spaghetti, cooked according to package directions and drained

 

Combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg;
shape into 12 (or more) one inch meatballs of uniform size.

Bring pasta sauce, Stewed Tomatoes and spices to a boil in a large pan.
Gently stir in uncooked meatballs.
Reduce heat and simmer covered; stirring occasionally,
30 to 40 minutes or until meatballs are done.

Serve over hot spaghetti.

Tip: Try adding a cube of mozzarella cheese to the center of each meatball
for an easy and but fun recipe twist.
