Chicken and Broccoli

 

8 oz uncooked pasta (spiral, rosettes...your choice)
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
black pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheese
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
9 or 10 oz box frozen cut broccoli, thawed
8 oz jar of Cheeze Whiz, melted
seasoned dry crumbs

 

 

Heat oven to 350.

Cook pasta and drain.

In a large sauce pan melt butter, add onion and bouillon. Cook over medium heat until onions are tender.
Add flour, salt, dry mustard, and pepper. Blend well.
Add milk, cook and stir over medium heat till thickened about 5 min.
Add shredded cheese, stir to melt.
Fold in chicken, broccoli, and pasta.

Spoon into a 2 quart baking dish. Pour cheese over top and sprinkle with crumbs.

Bake for 25 to 30 min.
