Corn On The Cob With Garlic Butter

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons finely minced fresh parsley (optional)
4 to 5 ears of corn, husked and cut in half
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Thoroughly mix butter, garlic and parsley in small bowl.

Place each 1/2 ear of corn on a piece of aluminum foil and generously spread with butter.
Season corn with salt and pepper and tightly seal foil.

Place corn in slow cooker; stacking if necessary.
Add 3 tablespoons to 1/4 cup water.

Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH 2 to 21/2 hours until done.
