Donna's Crunchy Mexican Casserole
1 C yellow corn tortilla chips, crushed
¼ C Ranch Buttermilk salad
dressing
2 T water
1 lb hamburger, cooked & drained
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix,
dry
4 ½ oz can diced green
chilies
2 C finely shredded Colby & Monterey
Jack cheese mix
1 16 oz jar
Pace chunky salsa
¼ C green bell pepper, chopped
Mix dressing with chips and water. Press into bottom
of 1 ½ -
2 qt baking dish.
Bake 350 for 10 min. Remove from oven and proceed
with next steps.
Mix hamburger with 1 C cheese, dry soup, and chilies.
Press into chip
crust. Pour salsa over meat mixture. Sprinkle green pepper over top.
Cover with remaining 1 C cheese.
Bake 350 for 30 min.
Can be served with sour cream, guacamole, green onions, etc.
