Green and Gold Salad

 

10 oz frozen peas
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 tablespoons chopped bell pepper (yellow if you can get it)
3 tablespoons shredded carrot
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
¼ teaspoon salt

(optional boiled eggs and cubed meats such as ham or chicken)

Rinse peas with cold water, drain well.

Mix together all ingredients.

Chill and serve as a side salad

(if you added the eggs and meats serve on a bed of greens for a main dish lunch time salad)
