Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes

 

Boil 5 pounds of potatoes, cubed and peeled, for 15 to 20 minutes.


Drain off all the boiling water.


Mash the potatoes with:
an 8 oz container of whipped cream cheese with garlic and herbs
½ cup of butter
and ¼ cup of milk.
(I like to add just a little extra garlic flavor with ½ to 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.)

Give it a try with other flavored cream cheeses too!
Onion and Chive is a good one!
