Garlic and Onion Biscuits (with Cheese)

 

2 cups + 2 tablespoons Jiffy baking mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon hot water
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
2/3 cups milk
(3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese)

Mix melted butter and hot water in a small bowl, add dried onion and set aside.

In a large bowl combine baking mix, garlic powder and onion powder.

Add onion mixture (and cheese), mix well, add milk and stir until a soft dough forms.

Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 450.

Brush tops with butter while still hot.

Serve warm.

Makes 8 biscuits.
