Haystacks


4 cups water
2 cups rice


1 lbs. ground turkey
1 - 10¾ oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 - 10¾ oz. can cream of chicken
2 Tbsp. milk
2 cups frozen peas
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese for topping

 

In a large pot combine water and rice; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender.

Meanwhile, cook turkey in a large saucepan until thoroughly browned.
Add both cans of soup and milk; stir until well combined and creamy. Cook until warm.

Warm peas in a separate sauce pan or in microwave.

 

To serve Haystacks put a spoonful of rice on your plate, top with a spoonful of meat mixture,
then top with a spoonful of hot peas and finally sprinkle with shredded cheese.
