Italian Patty Melts Patties: 1 egg Mix well and shape into 4 oval shaped patties and set aside.
Bread: 8 thin slices of italian style bread (french bread loaf) Mix butter and seasonings and coat both sides of the bread slices.
In the same large skillet cook patties 4 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink in the middle.
Continue heating just until cheese has melted. Serve patties between toasted bread slices.
