HOT DOGS IN THE CROCK POT

Prepare hot dogs in the crock pot using no water!
Just drop in the hot dogs or fully cooked Knockwurst or Polish sausage and
cook them in their own juice on high 1 to 2 hours or on low 3 to 5 hours.
In about one and a half hour, the hot dogs will begin to "brown" wherever they touch the sides of the pot.
(Put a cap full of liquid smoke into the crock-pot for an outdoor taste)

Extra Treat:
A few minutes before serving, (about 10 to 15 minutes) warm up some hot dog buns in the pot
by wrapping them in foil and placing inside the crock pot on top of the hot dogs and let them steam.
Watch them so they do not get too damp.
