Ken's Grill Top / Stove Top Potatoes

Potatoes (4-5)
Butter (1/2 Cup)
Salt (1 Tsp)
Milk (Enough to cover (~3 1/2 Cups)
Cheese (4oz)
Cracker Crumb (1/4 Cup)

 

Peel/Slice potatoes thinly (1/8").

Melt butter (medium heat).

Layer potatoes.

Salt.

Cover with milk.

Simmer covered (~20 minutes (until tender)).

Season to taste (red pepper, black pepper, onion powder).

Sprinkle with cheese (reserve some for topping).
Stir gently.

Cook uncovered (~5 minutes).

Top with remaining cheese and crushed crackers.

Serve when cheese is melted.
