LASAGNA
1# sweet Italian sausage or ground beef
2 - 26.5oz cans spaghetti sauce
1/4 c water
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 T chopped fresh chives
½ t oregano
1 egg
8 oz lasagna noodles (cooked, drained, rinsed)
16 oz sliced mozzarella
grated parmesan
Brown meat, drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water. Simmer
5 min.
In bowl combine ricotta cheese, chives, oregano, and egg. Mix well.
In bottom of 9x13 baking dish spread 1 ½ c. of meat sauce,
top with ½ of noodles then ½ of ricotta cheese, then ½ of
mozzarella.
Repeat layers.
Top with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan.
Cover and refrigerate 2 hrs to overnight.
Heat oven to 350º bake uncovered 50 min to 1 hour.
Let stand 15 min. before serving.
