LINDA W'S CHRISTMAS MARSHMALLOW LOG

1 - 12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 stick butter or margarine
1 bag colored mini-marshmallows (Kraft is best)

Melt chocolates chips and butter either on stove top or for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir.
(Chocolate chips may not be melted, but continue to stir and they will finish melting.)

Pour marshmallows into a large bowl. Pour melted chocolate chips over marshmallows and stir. Pour mixture onto wax paper and shape into a log. Allow to cool to set chocolate. Wrap in plastic wrap.

(You can also pour mixture into a greased cake pan and allow chocolate to set. Slice into squares to serve.)
(For a change use white mini-marshmallows and stir in diced maraschino cherries and pecan pieces.)
