Carla's Mozzarella Meat Pie
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 6 oz. can of tomato paste
1 4 oz pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 8 oz can of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Brown meat; drain, and add onions and celery; cook until tender.
Add tomato paste; 1/2 cup cheese and seasonings; mix well.
Separate crescent dough into eight triangles.
Place dough in 9-inch pie plate, pressing together to form crust. Flute
edges.
Fill with meat mixture; top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 375 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. 6 - 8
servings.
