Oven Baked Rice

 

Great for those times when you aren't going to be right by the stove to watch out for the un escapable boil-over.

 

1 1/2 c. rice
1/2 stick butter
3 c. hot water
3 bouillon cubes
seasonings as desired

 

Melt butter in the bottom of a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.

Add rice and stir.

Dissolve bouillon in hot water, stir in seasonings.

Pour water over rice and stir.

Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for 40 to 50 min.

Serve hot!
